A pair of Hand crafted Mermaid Bookends Sculptures
My inspiration came from myths and legends of European mythology, fantasy, and classical style sculptures of art deco from the 19th and early 20th century. The two sculptures are individually designed, sculpted in clay, then molded, and cast. Each bookend is finished by myself, time and care is taken to produce each piece, it surely is a labor of love. Each piece is painstakingly hand-cast in Hydrostone, painted to finish, and numbered. There are a total of 3 different finishes available, ivory, bronze, and green.
